OK/Cancel Leaves LondonJanuary 25th, 2005 by Kevin Cheng :: see related comic |
Well I’m back from Spain and Portugal but not for long. Soon, I will be moving all that I own back to North America … Vancouver, Canada to be exact from where I’ll try to figure what to do next.
Before I go however, I’d like to invite OK/Cancel UK readers to join me for a drink:
Where: Amber Bar downstairs bar in Soho
When: Thursday, January 27th, 2005, 20h00 (8pm)
I know the notice is kind of short but I hope some of you can make it out anyways. I’ll try to wear one of the OK/Cancel shirts so I’m easy to find. Come say hi before OK/Cancel loses its European representation! And if you plan to come, do drop a note here or by e-mail so I can look for you.
Hi Kevin,
As one of your readers in Vancouver, I’d say we should have welcome drinks when you arrive here.

I just have to say the part of the HCI rap where you give your greetings for London cracks me up. I’m not hating. I just haven’t heard many authentic Brits.
Well, we met in Lisbon, during your call, didn’t know you were moving, otherwise I would have bougth you a drink! Hope the move brings all that you’re searching for!
Kevin -
Would have loved to come down but am Amsterdam on Thurs. Good luck with the move, I know how much of a pita it can be, having moved back to London from 2 years in Berkeley many moons ago. All those little nick nacks have to go - you’ve gotta be brutal
Bon voyage, and I look forward to continued OKCancelling from you from Vancouver.
Best,
N

and I just have to say that I’m actually Canadian and that was one of the worst imitations of a Brit accent ever so don’t go on that for what Brits sound like
Tom forced me to do it!
Actually, I wanted him to say something funnier that might of gotten him in trouble with his girlfriend and also potentially arrested. But we made a reasonable compromise.
