I think the slimiest bit of recruiting practice I’ve come across was a colleague who was using a recruitment consultant to try to fill some vacancies. At the end of a phone conversation with the consultant to talk about progress, the consultant said “So Andy, are you happy in your current position?” Bleurgh.
