Thanksgiving 2005

We do a good deal of satirical critique at OK/C, so I figured this was a good week to lay low and think about what we are thankful for. A couple quick ones:

• UX/HCI has come a long way as a field, and there’s been plenty of press as great design as an important ingredient to business success.

• The job market has picked up again, and there are plenty of organizations who know enough to appreciate the value of an information architect or a design researcher.

• Of course, we’re thankful for our readers.
